						I used Japan Car Direct to import my R34 Nissan Skyline, I found Scott and his team extremly helpful though out the entire process from the get go... I had always wanted to own an R34 GTR it had been a dream car for me to own ever since I at school. I had always toyed with the idea of Importing a vehicle myself but was always dubious about the process... many companies didn't really want to help or we plain how the process works which wasn't very comforting... until i made contact with Scott @ JCD... He was happy to answer all my questions and querys with swift honest answers.. . And made the whole process extremly hassle free and no put my mind at rest of any worries I had. I can not recommend Scott and his team enough.. they helped me source, purchase and ship my dream car to the UK and I was extremly please with the car I purchased it was far better than I could have expected and was 'as described' I would 100% used JCD again and have already passed my information on to a number of people with regards to the whole process.. so once again Thank you Scott and the JCD I expect to be using your good selves aging in the future =)

						I'm giving Mathew and his crew five stars for excellent service, and for delivering what they promised. I am a first-time importer for a van I will use myself (no resale). Mathew took me through the selection process, helped steer me away from potentially bad deals, and communicated regularly once I had selected my vehicle. He took me through the export process, and recommended Armin at EasyISF to help with the import process. I was able to track my van across the ocean, and Armin helped me work through customs clearance up through the day I picked up my tiny van. Sometimes you have to trust people and this time I picked the correct people to trust; both with my funds being wired to Japan and with trusting that Mathew and his crew had my best interests in mind. 						Mathew and the gang were great with helping me with the acquisition of my 1994 Subaru Sambar dump kei truck. I was so excited about getting a truck I was ready to buy just about anything. Matt put the breaks on that and used his experience and knowledge to weed out the potential problems. I use my truck almost daily around our farm moving things and as a work surface. It is great. 						I can't praise Japan Car Direct enough especially the work from Mike Nguyen in helping me find and buy the van I finally chose. They make the process very straightforward and Mike was always available with video translations of auction sheets and with advice on the purchase process and pricing. You never feel like you cannot discuss the process and are never pushed into choices you don't want to make. Finally, with the shipping to the UK, Mike helped find transportation that was significantly faster than the expected times given by others.

						This is as good as no-sight car buying can get and I 100% recommend using these guys. Take your time, work with them, and you'll get exactly what you want. I was in the market for a Skyline and told Yoshiro what I was looking for ('98 or older, RWD, no rust, no accidents). He asked a few questions to gauge how much I cared about different aspects. I sent them the deposit and got started. From there I used their auction database to find cars I was interested in and I spent about a month looking at different auctions. Many times Yoshiro would discover something about the car I wouldn't have caught that made it a no-go, and his honesty probably saved me from a few lemons. Eventually this R34 closed without meeting reserve, and Yoshiro guided me through the negotiations process (which I was completely unfamiliar with). You only need 1 bank transfer to pay the rest of the fees which simplifies things. After that was done he got the car moved to the shipping yard. This was during peak covid, so of course there were tons of delays getting it onto a ship. Yoshiro provided regular updates, and once it was loaded he immediately sent me all the relevant documents and helped me find a broker to transport it from the port to my house. I'm extremely happy with the car and am super grateful that I had the help I did from the JCD guys to get it. It was honestly way simpler and easier than I thought it was going to be, and I almost prefer it to buying from dealerships!

						Without the help I got from Mason @ Japan Car Direct, I couldn't have been able to easily import my first JDM to Canada. He was very quick to respond to my emails and was patiently available day in and day out. Mason provided ongoing support to help me select the car I wanted and translated the Japanese description from the auction website. He used to record videos to explain all the available info about the cars I selected and helped me exclude the cars with features I didn't want. Mason also offered his expert advice about the maximum bidding amount but worked hard to get the car with the lowest price possible. He was amazingly dedicated to make sure I got what I wanted and patiently answered all my questions. He then helped me get extra inspections after winning the auction. I had no concern transferring money to buy and bid for the car because I know for sure that Mason and his friends at JCD are trust worthy. If I ever want to import another JDM car, Mason and his friends, Mathew and Scott are the guys that I would do business with.

						My experience with Japan Car Direct was flawless. From finding the right vehicle to payment and delivery, everything was a breeze. This was my first foreign import and I was impressed with how communicative and efficient the team was. Yoshiro was very helpful in guiding me through the process and being patient with me throughout.The only thing I would mention is that have the spare key couriered separately as one of my key fobs went missing during shipment. Cost me a bit to replace and reprogram; but not the end of the world. Just flagging as good practice for anyone thinking of buying a vehicle for import.Otherwise, would highly recommend Japan Car Direct and would use them again and again.

						The good people at JCD, Mason and Matt in particular, could not have been more supportive. They helped me through the auction selection process, translated a lot of auction sheets for me, and between us we successfully bid on my perfect vehicle. They walked me through getting it on a freight ship, sent me details of how to track my car halfway around the globe, also put me in touch with the right people in the UK to get my purchase through customs. They were always kind and courteous, and very understanding about the time difference issues between the UK and Japan. They always kept me up-to-date on the status of each step along the journey. All-in-all I had a really great experience dealing with them and also when adding up all the costs involved (purchase/freight/import fees/tax/registration/etc.) I got a £12k vehicle for below £7k. Super happy with the service/experience/results... would use them again in a heartbeat.

						I used Japan Car Direct to bid and win a Daihatsu HiJet Cargo. Mason was my point of contact and was brilliant in guiding me through the process, detailing how to make the initial deposit to allow bidding, detailing the auction costs and shipping costs, so that I could work out a budget. The platform for searching vehicles that are coming to auction was easy to use, and Mason was very helpful in explaining all the vehicle description codes and provided a really useful review for individual vehicles that I short listed, and then arranged for the vehicle to be independently inspected prior to bidding. Payment on my winning vehicle was straight forward by BACs to Japan Car Direct and then Mason took care of arranging shipping, and sending through the bill of lading and other documents. Once the vehicle arrived at the JCD yard I received very comprehensive photos. Shipping took about 7 weeks from Japan to Newcastle in the UK, and the vehicle arrived safely in perfect condition. I used RJJ Freight for customs clearance, which made the process of getting the vehicle into the UK stress free.

It was my first time exporting a vehicle and he walked me through step by step and didn't mind answering all my millions of questions. I probably looked at 100+ different trucks and Taylor was instrumental in helping me make informed decisions on which trucks I should try to bid on and which ones I should probably avoid. I ended up purchasing three mini-trucks, one for myself and two other family members. We love them!!!! Great for working around the farm or yard, hunting, taking to the mountains and cruising the back mountain roads or just a daily commuter as I use mine for. He is very nice and made me a lot more comfortable with the wire transfers (after purchasing the vehicle), because let’s be honest, it is nerve racking to send money to a foreign country and have to wait several weeks for your vehicle to arrive. Matt puts up with a very demanding customer in me, I can certainly take up time. Matt sends me cars from the list I sent him, when I don't have time to check the auction. It is scary how accurate Matt is when I ask him to predict a selling price. He is always very close which sometimes is not fun but he really does know pricing. They have walked we through buying two cars now and have held my hand on both. I really apricate all the time and knowledge. 						Since a kid the FD RX7 has always been a dream car but i didn't pursue it till i graduated high school but the prices just for the shell over here in california was over 15k!! I kept looking around until I decided i would just import one. I found JCD while looking for the top 5 importers you could trust and they stood out more than all the other ones, and for a couple months of more research on their page until I ultimately decided I would go through them. Although this was my first time getting a car from Japan and having an endless amount questions spanning a couple hundred emails until it would freeze up and i had to make a new email thread .. Mathew always answered every question and helped me though every step. I didn't have all the funds in the beginning but they were very patient with it until i was fully ready, then after a month of having Matt give his thought on some of the FDs i was looking at we finally won the auction for a 94 Efini type R Fd3s. As we picked it up from Long Beach till the drive home I couldn't believe that it was here and soo much better just looking at the picture but i defiantly would recommend JCD to anyone looking to import their dream car too and and want to thank matt and the whole team with getting me my RX7.

						Bought a Suzuki Cappuccino from auction through Mason at JCD. He was incredibly patient and helpful as I looked at dozens of cars, had several inspected, and finally the right one popped up. I just picked it up from port this week. JCD was always willing to answer all the questions I had as a first time importer.

						I recently found JCD through an article online about importing vehicles into the US. I sent them an email and Yoshiro was quick to get back. He too was from California which was helpful when it came to registering the vehicle, recommending diesel vehicles. When it came to finding a vehicle, I essentially send Yoshiro the link's to vehicles that I want translated. But he takes it a step further often using his own personal intuition to let me know if we should pass or bid on a vehicle. To be honest I was a little skeptical at first. Buying and shipping a vehicle from another country is a scary project. About two months later we were about to find a 1996 Townace in good condition at a great price...Yoshiro can tell you how difficult I was in finding it. 100% recommend Yoshiro and the guys at Japan Car Direct and am already looking for my 2nd import!

						I highly recommend Japan Car Direct. I just brought my first imported car home today, and I still don't understand all the steps from start to finish, but regardless, everything ran like a well oiled machine from an auction house to a port city south of Tokyo to Tacoma, WA, USA, export, import, etc... The people I worked with at Japan Car Direct were highly professional, patient, informative, and responsive. Cheers!

						Japan Car Direct has awesome support and always quick in response. Purchased several BMW 330i, BMW 530i, BMW M5, Benz C Class, E Class, AUDI TTS and etc to import into Taiwan. They took care of everything in Japan including export matters as well. It made our importing car business so easy all done through by internet. Wouldn't say it was as easy as purchasing on Amazon, but it sure was great enough for me. They even provided me daily notification of the models I was interested in. This helped me save tons of time from searching every day. Definitely suggest for English native buyers to Japan Car Direct, it would be much much more smoother than other Japanese companies in this business.

						I bought a 1993 RX7 FD from these guys they are great! Communication was very good, and prompt! Iv has my car now for 6 months and have been loving it! I would recommend emailing them and looking into the options! They are upfront about price and will steer you into the right direction on what the car will take to own! I’m working with Yoshiro to buy another car now! I’m very pleased with the service I received. It can be scary sending lots of money to a person you don’t know for a car you have never seen, but they will come through with everything they tell you they will do!
